hi
i'm joining this board from the UK - and need a little advice. i have a 2003 JDM spec DC5 integra Type R engine on its way to me to be installed as an engine swap. i have a heap of mechanical and plumbing issues to sort out - but have these in hand. one thing i know i will have to deal with is the immobiliser i have the ECU and the engine harness - but not the Key/fob question is - how do i get around the imobiliser - to get the engine to run. any input on ways around it or aftermarket ECUs would be very much appreciated thanks to the BB in advance garz |

OK guys - thansk for the posts and links
can i check if i have this clear - i have the original cars ECU - but not Key however if i go to a UK honda delaer with some prooof of legal owbership they should be able to give me a new Key and match this to the ECU so that the immobiliser works as normal with teh new Key or i can possibly buy and fit a replacement little PCB into my ECU that will do away with teh immobiliser all together ? right? thanks again ben |
