Thumbs down

I have an 88 Crx Si with a first gen B16 swap. It is throwing code 23, which I know is for a knock sensor. I have tried resetting the ecu, which cleared the code until the car got to normal operating temp. After that it came back on. What else should I check? I'm running a PR3 ecu, can I just unhook the knock sensor, or does it need the signal from it? I would like to get this resolved quickly after driving the car without the code and seeing how it is supposed to run. Thanks in advance.

unplugging it will throw the code constantly.

you should be fosuing on WHY its going off. setting off a knock sensor at idle is a BAD thing.

Not certain that it's going off at idle. I just know that after resetting the ecu it came back on when the car warmed up (while driving). Where should the knock sensor be grounded? I just want to doulble check the wiring, as I bought the car with swap already done. Any other common causes of this code?

edit: Or should it even be grounded at all?
