Need quick answer
just trying to tuck some things in the engine bay and wanted to know if you can ground the valve cover to the harness ground on the water neck behind the block?...this is a gsr engine

I don't see why not, it's a factory ground point.
I'd beef up the block to chassis ground if I did it though. 8ga or so.

yep,its a factory ground as awpticks said,
i moved mine from the front to the back on the shock tower,and used bigger wire,looks good,
