Hi all. I have just finished my d15b jdm swap, and i am thankfull to this site for info i've found for my swap. But there is 1 thing i did not find. My ECU is showing 19 ECU trouble code "Automatic Transmission Lock Up Control Solenoid Valve". I foundon web photos of p08 auto

and p08 manual

i see the main difference is, that P08 manual does not have 2 "chips" on top left. So i want to know if all i have to do is just cut these two chips out? Does anybody did thing like this?

p.s. sorry for my English

you definately do not just cut them out.

try this:

http://www.hondaswap.com/~pills/autotomanual.html
you should have to lower the resistance of RP18.
i have never done this on a P08 though.
www.hondata.com has good info also

Aye guys. Sorry for the thread revival. A guy from d-series found this thread, and I signed up to ask questions. I'm stuck. I know my P08 is for an automatic, but I'm unsure about how to go about changing the resister to get it to stop throwing code 19. Do I de-solder the resistors on top, and solder in the 1.4k? (see link to pic)

This is for a 92 Si with a d15b vtec swap. I'm currently running a P28 w/ RP17 and RP18 removed. It works great, but would love to see if the P08 I have can get even better gas mileage. I got 323 miles on my last tank. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the lame pic. It was the best I could do with my digital camera, and photoshop.

Done! Works better than the P28 for those lucky enough to get their hands on one.

This kid keeps bringing back dead threads. Doesn't even have 10 posts yet and he has brought back at least 2 or 3.

Fucking noobs
