vtec wiring

i need a lil bit of help. i have a b 18 ls bottom end with a b 16 vtec head on it . my wiring harness in my 93 hatch is non vtec . can i wire the vtec solinoid on a toggle switch. this is a dirt track car the dash is gone and i have now idea on how to pin the ecu. i just read on here that if u wire it on a toggle switch the vtec will not engage properly. or not act properly can someone tell me if thats wrong or right. thanks for any help i can git

vtec on a switch will not work correct.it needs to be wired up to the ecu the correct way, just run the wires to the correct pinout on the ecu.

Ok can some one tell me were I can find a wiring skematic for a p75 computer so that way I can pin the vtec. Also when I pin it I just need one wire going from the ecu to the vtec solinoid ? Thanks for yalls help any info is appreciated
