| Junior Member |  Wirring help please... 94 accord auto to manual swap I got the 5spd shifter in and I will soon have the clutch pedal mounted but I need help with wirring. The 5spd tranny has like 1 plug/harness on it and then two other wires, I assume the plug is the speed sensor and the two wires are the reverse lights. The automatic had like WAY more wireing of course,, but my question is what do I do with it... I think the speed sensor harness is the same...reverse lights I can probly figure out, but what about getting the ignition circuit...like getting the car thinking it's in park and can the rest of the wirring just stay disconnected?? |

| RETIRED  | the "park" stuff is all part of the ecu. your ignition will not need to be changed. the VSS is the big black sensor on top of the tranny. the reverse switch is a single wire with a small flat plug. (might be different on accords, i'm not familiar with them) |
