|  92 civic hatch si hey guys im new to the car scene but i have alot of friends who have imports and i was just wondering if someone can help me. i was wondering what the best swap would be for my si. i plan on buying an lsd tranny as well but i need to start with the motor. right now i am runnin the stock d16 with 280xxx so i plan on a swap in the spring . |

| The tranny will depend on the motor you choose. If you go with a B-series than you must use a B-series tranny. I don't think there are any factory LSD-equipped D-series trannys anyway, so B or H-series is your only choice for a stock LSD transmission. You've asked a very general question. There are plenty of motor choices for your car. I wouldn't say that there's any ultimate best choice. What are your goals for this car? Power goals? What will it be used for, etc.? Answer these questions and we can give you a better answer to yours...
