You could probably bore it to 2.1, but you'd have to resleeve it pretty thick if you plan on boosting it, which would end up dropping displacement down again.

boring out a B16.....

I don't see it.....

jest get a B18c and play with it if you have money to bore a B16 to 2.1

and you don't neet to bore a B16 to 2.1 to make it fast, = faster than it is,

B16 lack of torque, I don't like that....

jest get a B20 block, I will make it easier on you, and on your wallet....

guys all motor for me. see i can't decide what to do for my setup. the b16 is cheap to get and i've seen them done correctly and can make power. i wanted to stroke or bore b/c of the fact that it lacks torque. either that or get a b16a head and get a itr bottom end and do that but idk b/c idk if it's worth the money. i could build the b16 better for the same price just about. am i right? any thoughts?

thanks for any help again

Depends on the shop you take it to. I had a quote for my Escorts 1.8 to have it bored to 2.1 and resleeved as a 2.0 quoted around 350-400 bucks or so for a magnaflux, bore, & resleeve job.

i dont care how much money you have you will never be able to get a b16 to 2.1 with a new bore. you will have to stroke it with the rebore and maybe weld a deck extension plate on. largest bore you can probally run on the b-blocks is about 84.5mm for boosted applications. this will get you to is about 1728cc. in order to get to 2.1L you will need a 95mm crank(2131cc). with the 95mm crank in the b16 you will have a rod ratio of about 1.32(125mm rods)--pretty shitty; thus the need to get the deck plate.
