the c5 will be a little more torquey with a little extra horsepower over the b16b.

both are a waste of money. they cost wayyy too much for what you get. i would rather have an ls turbo or a b16 turbo than a fancy 'r' series motor.

Well, that would be your opinion. Some people want a simple drop in motor that performs. Others race in events where you can only have OE parts, etc. It's all personal preference. Hell, I'd take a NA Bisi-built F22A over a turbo LS or B16.

well, so would i, but he did ask for opinions. my opinion is that they are way overpriced for what you get.

in the long run, i doubt he buys either one of them. they are rare, expensive and highly susceptible to theft. our opinion is worth nothing without knowing the usage of the engine. even, it's still just an opinion.

If you want to just swap a motor in and be done with it get the C5, if you want the "bling factor" get the B16B, if you plan to build up the motor for a turbo or something down the line I'd say stay away from both due to the high compression and the fact that you might end up replacing parts that you already paid extra for.
