Default B20 VTEC turbo reliability?

Im planning to go with a turbo on my B16 head B20 block... but I was thinking about alot of things, especially the sleeves.. they all say it won't withstand the power! I mean I want around 300whp or 10 - 12 PSI... will that happen? I will go with pistons and rods, but will the sleeves take it?

The sleeves will be fine at 300whp. Just tune the engine well and make sure there's no detonation- that's what damages the sleeves in the first place.

Moving this to a new thread too- the last activity in this one was over 3 years ago. Look at the dates next time.

I'm looking into using a block guard on mine. Although it's not intended right now for a turbo, i may add a small one at a later date.
I've been told and read that it's good cheap insurance.

Only if you install it correctly.
