Thumbs up

Okay, I'm putting a stock H22A in my 92 Accord EX. This is going to be a daily driven, stock(for now at least) H22.

Out of these clutches, which would you get/recomend?

http://www.performancecenter.com/products/...er_ACTHA3-HDSS/
ACT organic performance street clutch and heavy duty pressure plate

http://www.performancecenter.com/products/...CMC08-014-HDOO/
CLUTCHMASTERS FX100 Steel Back Heavy Duty Street Clutch Kit

http://www.performancecenter.com/products/...CMC08-014-HDKV/
CLUTCHMASTERS FX200 Steel Back Heavy Duty Street Clutch Kit

http://www.performancecenter.com/products/...r_UOR070601411/
UNORTHODOX RACING Sprung Center Windowed Kevlar Stage-1 Clutch Kit

Out of these flywheels, which would you get/recomend?

http://www.performancecenter.com/products/...tions/sf5_2.2l/
CLUTCHMASTERS 2-Piece Aluminum Flywheel or UNORTHODOX RACING Lightened Aluminum Flywheel

Okay, for now, pretend price doesn't matter, because my friend can get me a discount, only I'm not sure how much the discount is going to be right now.

If the discount isn't enough, then it's going to be either a 25% or 50% street disk from here: http://www.lsdmotorsports.com/Clutch...elKit.aspx?s=h

they cost the same, but I'm just wondering if the difference in the pressure plates is going to make the clutch excessively hard.

All helpfull input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

The Clutchmaster FX100 is good for a stock engine daily driven. If you needed a track car, id go with the Unorthodox, but you dont need that engagement and the ability to hold the torque.

And the $289 FW should be okay

personally i would go with an exedy stock replacement clutch and a fidanza flywheel

your links suck, take too long to load...
you should throw the name under each link so people can give an opinion without having to load 8 IE windows

Well, sorry about that, it only takes 2-3 sec for it to load on my computer, but i have cable (came with the apt).

As far as exedy and fidanza, they're not offered at that site, and i'm using that site (www.performancecenter.com) because my friend can get me wholesale prices from there. Also, like I said before, if the discounts aren't big enough, then I'm going to go with the clutch/flywheel combo from lsdmotorsports.

About the lsdmotorsports though, it's tempting to get the 50% extra torque hold over the 25% because they're the same price. But, I'm worried about having a heavy clutch pedal.

Anyway, thanks for the replies, and keep them coming!

i would give mike at www.lsdmotorsports a hollar.

i have been running his clutch specialties clutches for some time now with excellent success.

personally i think cluch masters clutches are garbage....

im running his dual diaphragm clutch and the pedal is not excessivly heavy.

its very streetable.

Okay, even with the discounts my friend can get me, lsdmotorsports is still cheaper.

SO, now I'm just thinking about whether I should go ahead with the 50% extra hold street disk, or the 25% extra hold street disk. They cost the same, it's a flywheel/clutch package, $455. Oh yeah, the flywheel is 13 lbs. cast.

Here's the link again: http://www.lsdmotorsports.com/Clutch...elKit.aspx?s=h

I can't believe i only got 5 replies, and two of them are from me!
