There really isn't such a thing as "easy" power. Bolt-ons can get you closer, though.

Crank horsepower doesn't equal wheel horsepower. At the wheels, a stock H22 is going to put down around 150-160 horses...
Please tell me how any of those things add horsepower... __________________

some people consider freeing power up, adds horsepower.
if thats the case, strip the interior. |

I'm aware of that. But I was pointing out the fact that it still doesn't add power. If you send the same car down the track two different times--one with interior, one without--the numbers aren't going to be spectacular enough to make someone want to gut their car.

Build up the bottom block, (darton M.I.D sleeeves it), stroker kit (better displacement), Stage 2 street cam/ gears, valve srpings and retainers, Larger exhaust system 2.5-3" piping.
Vtec should scream like no other. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, this should make somewhere in the 230-240 neighborhood. |

So it sounds like the H22A drivetrain eats up 25% of the power. So you would need to make like 260HP to the crank, to get 200 to the wheels. damn, our H22s SUCK! I thought FWD drivetrains were supposed to be more sufficient than RWDs? Also I thought the shorter gears of the H22A tranny (the m4....whatever) would make it more efficient, too.....I guess not.
