I need a new head for my D16A6. I was told that I could put a head froma newer 1.5 motor on. Friend told me it would bolt up and raise my compression ratio. Can this be done???

yes it can be done

it depends on which head you planning on switching

d16z6(92-95 ex head) is a good choice they call it a mini me swap

im not sure about it raising your compression

it will bolt right up to the block

and by the way you dont have a 1.5 you have a 1.6. The DX's are 1.5
