help! final drive type r ls turbo setup

Default help! final drive type r ls turbo setup

hi i have a b16 sleeved to 84mm for a turbo setup and i bought the LS S80 HYDRO TRANNY. i also bought the type r differential without the ring gear. i wnat to know if i buy the type r 4.7 final drive which includes: ring gear, coutershaft, needle bearing, first gear(but don't kbow if use since its short), and distance collar. will this go into my ls tranny. please let me know and if would be a good setup. thanks cubano4v16@yahoo.com

If you get the right gear set you should be fine. I would just run the 4.4 final drive... or better yet, sell the LS transmission and your differential, then get a JDM GSR LSD transmission or a USDM GSR with a Quaife in it.

Yeah But I Want Long Gears And I Aready Have This Is Not Going To Be The Same Setup As The Jdm Gsr By Doing This

for turbo setup because if i buy the gsr its shorter than ls thas why

Long gears aren't necessarily good for a turbo setup.
