I was thinking about getting some ITR cams for my GSR motor. I was wondering what improvements would I get if I were to get the ITR cams vs. the GSR cams.

if i am not mistaken most of the power gained is in the midrange and upper rpms band past 8k,

itr cams wont see much power past 8k

i've sucessfully tuned my ctr cams to make power to 8250 on my lsvtec, and the same cams made power to 8500 in my b16

i would look into getting something more aggressive , skunk 2's etc if you're going to drop the coin

it's like this, they are good cams if sticking to oem parts, they are good but there are a lot of other cams out their that make more power.

get CTRs, they're pumpin pretty good in my B16Bblock/B18C head

on my gsr i have just the ctr intake and it made a really strong difference

no the exhaust cams were always the same
and the 00+ ITR intake cam has the same profile as the CTR intake cam (before that the CTR intake cam was slightly more agressive)
