My god. You really expect us to be able to predict that without any specifics at all?
CARFROG, you can't even be assured of that. What about the tune? GSR to B16 to ITR or CTR is going to vary quite a bit too. Good god. Fail. __________________

Thats based on stock head and bottom end with the nastural compression change when applying a VTEC head to a non-VTEC bottom end (yes ITR or CTR will vary slightly. I sad stock....not tuned or chipped or ported or poor man type r. I said STOCK
And the varences if all applications were STOCK...NO NO NO they WILL NOT VARY that much. Obviously the original poster is like MANY post that are terribly Vague and leave mounds of information unsaid. I gave him a ballpark figure that is VERY REALISTIC and gives him vague info based on the vague question. Thanks for filling me in on all the different heads...although I was already aware |

New issue of Project Car, 92 EG with a GSR LS/vtec. Obx cams, retainers, springs and aftermarket intake manifold. Dynoed 178hp to the wheels, ran a 9.7 in the 1/8mile.
My old 91 Civic 4-door. B18a1 LS, 2000 LS B18b cams stock valvetrain, Obd2 B18b intake manifold and 4.44 cable transmission on street tires. never dynoed but ate Gsr swaps and ran a 9.5 in the 1/8 mile. |

You can have two identical LS-VTEC engines and they are not going to run the same, nor put out the same amount of power. There are too many variables even in tiny details of the engine. So no, your guess was not very realistic. __________________
