Default My Frank Build!

I picked up a K24A4 Accord Longblock from a buddy in Portland. Some friends and I stripped it down bare. Im building an ALL Motor Daily Driven Machine on pump 91 w/ 12.5:1 compression Wiseco pistons. I already have a swapped K20 into the car.

here is a pic of the car and my k24 bare.

maybe stupid question but how are you gonna have 13.5.1 comp. and still run pump gas? build sounds awsome!!

well we have 100 octane here but i decided for reliablilty sake to go 12.5:1

ok i didnt want to offend you im just new to the honda engine building. when my dad and i built big block chevys we used 13.5.1 but we always ran 115 fuel so i wasnt sure. it would be cool to run 13.5.1 on pump tho. awsome build keep us posted

K-Pro. Tuning. It can be done. But, it'd be really pointless to have money invested in 13.5:1 compression pistons if you are only running 91 octane.

look into ips for parts.
they rev those k24 almost to 10 grand
nice build

I disagree... I ran 93 octane on 13:1 compression with a B series head. On a K you can probably go higher. You just have to know what you're doing with the fuel maps.

I have been looking into the IPS KME cams.... very spendy though $1550 w/o springs and retainers. Some guy on k20a.org is putting down 307whp and 231TRQ with the KME ALL MOTOR!!!!

I just orderd my IB spec connecting rods. Should be here Monday-Tuesday

no there is a tuner in seattle wa that runs Ephatch.com and he is a damn good tuner.

Yeah well the K-series turning is so much different than any B series because of the IVTEC, VTC, Cam angles... And this guy knows his shit also 70 an hr cant beat that

Thats is a conversion harness that cleans up all the wiring i did in order to get my swap up and running.. less hassle less mess. less heachae in the future.

Sending my oil pump off to Hytech to be modified for my k24 and so it will flow oil better

i also did a oil pump mod for my h. i sent it to endyne.
i hear that the mod really help the relibility of these long stroke engines
