Going to look at a ITR head tomorrow. The number on the head PR3-2 or pr3-3 is ITR?? Also it supposively has Ti retainers.. Are all Ti retainers that silver shiny finish? No way to really tell if it has aftermarket springs is there?

on the front of the head theres some circles with numbers cast into it. the first circle with the numbers tells you what year it was made in, if its under 93 or 94 then it most likely a B16A head if above then ITR. as for the retainers yes most of them are shiny an you should be able to see them.

Is it by where the head labels PR3-2?

They are right above the exhaust manifold, there are four little circles that look like clocks, and almost every aftermarket retainer have the company name engraved/stamped into them.
