in OBX defense i will say that the OBX short shifter i bought for my mirage for $45 shipped is just as nice as the day i bought it. i've put almost 50K miles worth of shifting into it and i love it.

Yeah I am not sure where OBX got a bad rap? I have a complete stainless OBX Header, test pipe, and exhaust all the way to the rear where I had a custom muffler/tip welded on. That shit hasn't cracked or rusted in 4 years and I love the sound. Not to mention it was nicely priced.

I just wouldnt use OBX parts on any high-stress internal parts.

You're lucky then. I've seen several OBX manifolds crack...

yeah. OBX isnt really known for quality. cheap though. i will say that. but not worth it.

every tuner knows the saying. "you get what you pay for"

pay cheap. get cheap crap.
pay more. get better quality.
pay more and get cheap crap. well. you were hustled then.

I bought a 256 Comp Cam for my D15b. and just from when i pulled it out of box. i liked it already. i think i paid some where near 300.00 for it though.
