PR3 pistons+boost??

This is a discussion on PR3 pistons+boost?? in the Engine Building forum
I've got to put new pistons in. I wanna put something in that will work N/A for now and possibly run low boost later on. I have PR3 pistons right now. Should I put the same thing back in?? Thanks...

^^^thats why i need new pistons... any way I can downsize that image so its easier to see the whole thing?

Use Oem GSR or LS pistons if you want, But your problem is detonation!
Tune that shit or find a new tunner.

Okay thanks for your input. I don't doubt that detonation is my problem as i have never got her tuned.

yes stock pistons are ok for boost, just dont get greedy. and for the love of god, always get it tuned.

dude I have seen cracked ringlands and melted pistons but never a missing piece!

well it wasn't missing. it was completly intact untill it got pulled then i pulled it off of the piston. the rings did a good job of keeping it intact.
