Default Throttle Body interchangeability between D16Y8 and B-Series

Hey guys, I got a few questions:

Would a throttle body off of a B-series (B18C1, B18C5, B16, etc...) fit my D16Y8?
If so, is there any machining/fitment or special gasket required?
I've got a JRSC and I'm trying to get a bit more air to go into the IM without porting it or the head (for now).
And my last question: Is it even worth it?

Thanks

i have heard of people putting a b18b throttle body on a d series. it might gain a little bit, but not a whole lot.

So, unless I port match the plenum, I'll get a sort of bottleneck effect, right?
Any idea what the stock diameter D16Y8 TB is? and what about the B-series.

As for getting more air in, I can increase the fuel to match, that won't be a problem. I can retune the S300.
I was just thinking of getting a bigger diameter intake pipe and switch to a ram air intake instead of my CAI.

Thanks
