vtec killer cams

This is a discussion on vtec killer cams in the Engine Building forum
Are the vtec killer cams like vtec all the time, or do they just run a really agressive lobe, and you disable the vtec?...

A really aggresive lobe all the time that cancels out vtec, would be almost the same as being in vtec all the time:P But yea, they are "in vtec" all the time.

dont those things idle at like 4000 rpms? they are stupidly aggressive, not for a street car at all.

I don't think that they idle that high, but they do not make any power until like 5000 or something like that, so on the street, they would suck.
