Default Vtec Mini Me swap

I have a 90 civic si with a d15b2 bottom end and d16a6 top end. I just got a d16y8. The setup i have now has 138hp to the fly wheel(so i am told). A d16a6 has 108 hp while a y8 has 127. I understand that doin that swap bumped compression pretty hardcore, but is it enough to really get 138hp. And by puttin the Vtec head on, would that bump it up to 157 to the flywheel
