| Junior Member | ok heres the deal. I'm building up my GIRLFRIENDS D16Y8 and I need to know what i should do next! This is what I've done so far. Short Ram Intake Header BBK 62mm Throttle Body Venom Fuel Rail Venom Injectors, 10 % over ones. Fuel pressure reg, and gauge. What sould my fuel pressure be set at, I have it at 50 no resonator, OBX muffler, stock pipe. This is some of what I was thinkin' 2 1/2 in piping from cat back Venom 400 or Apexi V-AFC Venom 400 is easier right? Port and polished head, someone is selling them on EBAY Venom intake manifold High flow cat Which of these would you do next and why? No engine swap and the Port and Polished head is kinda pushin it at the kinda work I really feel like doing. She drives this Daily. |

| Member | If your going to keep that crap motor then just make it sound and look nice, NOT SPANICH.. Take off that crap OBX tip and get greddy EVO, then get a ground control suspension ( car needs to be lowerd looks like crap in pic). also would be nice with a carbon fiber hood. If you want to really make the car worth driving then forget all of that and do the LS turbo swap.... or a GSR if you dont have the money for the turbo. |

| Banned | mad propz on that clean looking civic! but doesnt that tree get in the way when you're shifting? j/k you've already got alot invested in the current engine, so i would upgrade the exhaust piping first (and get a quality muffler instead of that OBX), then bolt on a cam gear if u like and then get a V-afc to get everything tuned. IMO, high-flow cats dont do much. they add only 1-2whp at the most. i'd just go with larger cat-back pipes and a good performance muffler. |

Everything you said was right on point. There is a pic of my ride above, and a list of what i've done so far. I believe i've done well with it so far, being it only has 2500 miles. I guess now that they see I have my own project, they might understand why I'm not going to do a motor swap into someone elses car. Well thank and I will IM you when I need to. | |

| Senior Member | I actually read your post and i said get a swap because you're gonna spend all this money trying to get better performance out of the car and the most effective way of doing that is to chuck your stocker and get a B or H series. this is all IMO ofcourse. then you had to go and try to talk shit about us spending mommy and daddy's money on our swaps. well, that pissed me off and it makes you sound like a fucktard for even saying that. you don't know any of us and you have no idea what we do to get what we have. E, i agree with you...that comment from Blanco was pretty stupid.
