Fidanza Flywheel / Pilot bearing question?

I have a fidanza flywheel, and I'm about to put the pilot bearing in it. Looking at the fidanza flywheel it looks like the pilot bearing goes in on the backside of the flywheel (the side facing the engine). It will not go in on the front side of the flywheel (the side facing the transmission) because the hole is too small for the pilot bearing to go through. Does anyone know if this is the correct side of the flywheel to tap the pilot bearing into? The picture in the haynes manual show the pilot bearing being tapped in on the front side of the flywheel ( the side facing the transmission). Can anyone confirm that the pilot bearing is tapped in from the backside on fidanza flywheels, and from the front on stock flywheels ?

Hi,

Have searched the forums for an answer but cant seem to find one to this simple question!

My engine blew on my 98' Prelude 2.0i (F20a) and was wondering how easy it is to put a 2.2 VTEC (H22a5) into it as a replacement? Are the transmission, wiring loom and block compatible?

Anyone predict any major problems or offer advice if you have done it yourself that would be great!

Thanks,

Michael

some times when you do a jdm h22 swap into the 92-96 preludes the fans will no longer work. this happened to mine. did the h22a swap in my 92 lude also. so try running a hot wire to see if the fans will kick on then. if so and you have checked all fuses and what nots. then i would say just run you a toggle switch to control the fans.
