I installed a GSR swap in my good buddy's 92 Si about a year and a half ago. Now he wants more out of the car and has decided to go turbo. His clutch just took a shit and now seems to be "the time" to go for it. I gave him a list of parts that he will need to go purchase and I just wanted to run it by the turbo guys round here to see if there is anything i missed.

His motor right now is a stock 95 GSR with the usual I/H/E, skunk2 IM, Spoon 70mm TB, and a Apexi VAFC v.2. the list so far is:

Rev Hard turbo kit(complete)
eagle rods
pistons(optional)
Ferrara Valve train(excluding cams)
Turbo timer
A/F meter and boost gauge
injectors(what size)
is there anything I am forgeting? I'm sure I am

he has a budget of no more than 4 grand in parts. give me some opinons/sugestions.

matt

the turbo kit will pretty much kill that 4 g's by itself!

And you left out the two of the most important things he needs, hondata and tuning.

the rev hard is only $2600 and tunning/labor is not included.

kit comes with an fmu. no need for injectors, really. just don't get boost happy.
no need for valvetrain either.

kit, clutch, 3" exhaust, and you're at or near 4 grand for sure. 2600 or not.

get yourself a clutch cause your stock one isn't gonna hold up very long.
