I have a B16 that is in my crx right now..

I want to put a homemade cheap kit on it

I was wondering if a Garrett T3 turbo is a decent turbo?

Also how are the Saab 900 side mount intercooler's?

can I use one the intercooler?

Any help would be great. Thanks

a garrett t3 turbo is good. how much are you planning on boosting?
I would imagine the saab intercooler would work, since my friends have used DSM side mounts, just get piping made.

saab intercoolers suck. you might want to look into upgrading that to something better if you have the cash, but for now it will do i guess.
if you want to run more than 10 psi, you are going to need a 3-bar map sensor, and thus, a hondata or better system.

450s are good for about 275 whp ish... but you're still going to have your 10 psi barrier from the oem 2-bar mapr sensor.

300-350hp on 440's is a really huge stretch
way better idea to use 550's
