Default Track turbo? help please

I have a eg civic with a Ls (b18b1) with bolt ons and want more power for track racing. It's scca racing so i rarely ever get out of 2nd gear. As much as i would like to keep it all natural, it's too expensive and over my head to do. Also a supercharger is too hard to find for a non-vtech and too expensive. So as far as my question goes, i was wondering what kind of turbo size and reinforcements for the internals i should do so i can minimize lag and optimize power? If you could please be specific as i am rather new to turbo systems.

thank you

Keep the turbo small, and keep your horse power in the 200 range, and you really wont have to do much else to the motor. Dont skimp on a tune tho, no matter what parts you put togather theyre nothin with out a good tune.
