first off do i absalutely have to water cool my turbo if i get one with the option of water cooling it and seccondly how hard is it to run the lines off of the turbo to the radiator and what not?

First off, the lines will not come from the radiator.
Usually it's tee'd off of the thermostat "tube" on the back of the block. If the turbo is meant to be watercooled, it had better be watercooled. |

I can't remember exactly how my friend had it (LS-VTEC-T with a little DSM turbo), but I think the return went somewhere farther down the line from the water pump. I can't remember exactly where, nor can I advise you on where to put the return. But I would recommend running the feed from there, yes.
