I'm getting an ls motor for my civic, and having it turbocharged. and i was wondering how important is vtec on a turbo motor? thanks

you will be plenty fast with out being boosted. but vtec is a good technology.

Before I had My 97 Civic EX turbocharged, you could feel the VTEC kick in really well. But after the turbo was installed, I could not even feel it at all. Oh well, it was plenty fast any ways.

ls/t is fine. Don't worry about vtec. It's good to have, but not necessary.

if you've done everything (to the ls/t) then vtec would be a good next step.
