I am in a bit of a situation, I'm not sure if its serious or not. Right now my car is getting turbo'd and my mechanic does not know what to do about the vacuum routing on the wastegate. I have a tial 38mm wastegate its the same thing as the 35mm. the is a vacuum port on the very top of the wastegate and there is one on right under the middle section on the wastegate. If there is anyone who can help me please let me know. I tried calling tial but the wont give me a number that i can reach them by. They said they could fax me the instructions but that doesnt do me or the mechanic any good since we dont have a fax machine. If you happen to know please let me know............Thank you

If you are using a boost controller, it references the top port, and a standard vacuum line goes to the side.

If you are just using the wastegate spring to control boost, leave the top port open to the atmosphere, and hook a boost/vacuum line to the side port only. This should operate the wastegate correctly.

Hope this helps.
