i have a 93 civic with a b20 swap...the car is set up with the timing advanced...but it runs like shit at low rpms (poping sounds, real deep low noise, wants to die) and the tach keeps shooting all over the place....does the advanced timing has a major affect on the power??? should i keep it advanced or time it to factory specs???

u will always get more power if you advance your timing but there is only so much you can advance your timing before you fu@# your car up like over heating or other things i would put a timing gun on it to see what is the timing set on
