Default anyone know which way this thing faces? (pic)

i was in the process of putting my motor back together and i got to the crankshaft pulley install and this washer looking type thing has me confused...i don't know which way it faces, what i mean is that is has a tapered/beveled side with rasises in the outer lip and dips in the other, i took some pics...

Think about it some more after you look at it from the edge. You will see that the washer is conical, and that the big end of the cone faces away from the belt.

yes

if you put them on each side of the cam gear, it forms a "track" for the belt to ride in.

IIRC from the 1g crx that there was one on each side.

yea, theres one behind the timing belt drive gear that faces the oppisite way the front ones does
