i have a 2005 Civic LX and i was wondering how much it would be for parts and labor and the specific parts i would need to do this conversion?

For a newb: You'll need pedals, including their cylinders and reservoirs. Or cable, if you go cable trans. The center console will need to be punched out (Factory markings are there) and the hardware bolted on for the shifter. The shift linkages will need to clear the exhaust (It should.. but if you have had custom piping in the past it may not). Then you'll need to jump the wire that tells it you're out of park so it'll start.
Including price of transmission: $200 to $1000, depending on quality / newness of parts used. __________________
