my clutch is very spongy and has to be push in all the way before going into gear.
i already bled the lines but it's stil the same. somebody mentioned bleeding the master cylinder. how do i do that? and what is reverse bleeding?? ![]() |

Check on the floor of your car to see if you have any leaks. If there is any residue of brake fluid (blistering paint, wetness, ect) then your Clutch master cylinder is out. Other thing that it could be is your slave cylinder. It is the part that you bleed the line from.
Reverse bleeding is a process in which you pump brake fluid INTO they bleeder screw, and have it all go out the resivior. I am not sure if you can even do clutches because the slave cylinder bleeder screw is a one way screw, so when you bleed, you can just pump and pump and not do the pump pump, hold rutine. Make sure when your bleeding, you never have the fluid go below minimum. __________________
