Can i run a d16y8 with Obd0

This is a discussion on Can i run a d16y8 with Obd0 in the General Tech and Maintenance forum
Scenario- 16y8 head(aem adj cam gear) D15b2 block Mpfi swap into dx(obdo) 90si intke mani 90si trans pm6 ecu Will this work? If so is there anything i am missing?...

Scenario-

16y8 head(aem adj cam gear)
D15b2 block
Mpfi swap into dx(obdo)
90si intke mani
90si trans
pm6 ecu

Will this work? If so is there anything i am missing?

You need something to activate VTEC, and you'll probably want to chip the PM6 to a P28 fuel map.

use turboedit to activate vtec through the a/c switch on a chipped pm6. Search PGMFi.org. Ask Jason Parker, or Xenocron, I'm sure there are more, those are the only two guys I personally have chatted with though.
