Default Engine code?

I'm a new honda owner and want to know if anyone knows where to find the engine code, b16 etc. I bought a 94 del sol and it does not have any badges or marking on the outside. The top of the engine says v-tec, any ideas, thanks.

Default Del sol

Thanks, if that is the case, do you happen to know the specs on that engine? I was hoping to have the 160hp version.

Default mods

It has an AEM air intake, carbon fiber muffler, aftermarket race headers, and I am told it has a chip(mugen). Not sure where the ecu is so I am not sure how to check. I am told I can put my car on a dyno nearby fo 20 bucks so I may do that sometime. For now I am just gonna work on the inside with some white face gauges and stuff like that.

The ECU should be under the carpet on the passenger side in front of the door.

Might accidentally think you're going 6mph at 120000 rpm or something? lol How would you screw them up?

I have wondered why I was not getting the fuel economy I thought I should out of a four banger! I have been doing some research on the gauges, would you guys still not recomend them if they were installed by someone who knows what they are doing? How about a race style steering wheel, are those hard to do?
Thanks for all yous guys input!

Sry I don't. I've never messed with them, and probably won't ever do 'em... it's just not my style.

Just be carefull and follow the instructions carefully.
I'm sure you can find info online somewhere.

Default Gauges

I believe you, but it just seems so screwed up. I have heard so much about this and WILL heed the warnings. I just don't understand why you can't replace the needle at 0 and be ok. I have been calling around and will end paying someone to do them. Any way to tell if they have been jacked up or do I just cross my fingers?

Is it that important to you?

I'm not saying, "don't do it", but, if theres risk of messing up your cluster, why bother with it?

I guess that is always an option! Now I guess I will just redirect my efforts somewhere else.
