| Senior Member | I have a 90 Accord LX and I want to put a 98 Vtec head on my bottom end. How difficult would this be and would it be worth the time and trouble. I am also planning on doing a lot of head work before putting the 98 Vtec head on my car. Peace* |

Rep Power: 100 | Definitely not worth it. Why? - You'll have to rewire to OBD2 - You'll gain maybe 10 horses at the wheel, tops. You'll spend close to or a little over a grand doing this. Single-cam VTEC exists for fuel economy, not for performance. You'll be better off spending the money for a swap or building that one you have for a turbo. |
