rite now i have a b20 with a compression of 12:0:1 with a b16a head, but if take off the b16a head and put on a gs-r head, will the compression go up? if so how higher will it go up? also can i get a thicker head gasker to lower the compression?

yes a GSR head will slightly raise the CR
it only raises it about 0.2:1 not a very cost effective way of raising compression IMO
and yes you can get a thicker gasket to lower the compression
you could also get a thinner gasket to raise it

what pistons are you running to get 12:1?
