I've been reading and what I found out is if you use different head gaskets you can increase/decrease your compression. But what my real question is, with d series at least, are the head gaskets pretty much interchangeable? because I've got a B2 block and I'm getting a Z6 head. and I was wondering if I got the Z6/Y8 head gasket if it would be a good fit without any modification? Also does anyone know where to buy a 2 layer Y8 head gasket other then the internet, because I went down to auto zone the other day and asked for one and they looked at me like I had 3 heads. But any help if great.
