Default Hood latch cable broke, with hood latched

So i was tryin to fit my new hood and was adjusting the latch mechanism and when i locked the hood down, i went to release it and the latch cable snapped.

How do i unlock my hood without messing something up.
I cant just go through the grill be cause my fmic is in the way and its a carbon fiber hood so i really dont wanna mess it up.

Please help.

right under the hood latch. The plastic pieece that snaps into the brackets broke off and the ball and wire went limp and fell right out of the latch. So there is nothing to grab onto and pull to unlock it unless i manually grab the mechanism by hand which is nearly impossible.

Damn you fmic.

Looks like you might be taking the bumper off and unbolting the t-bar with it still latched to the hood. I would have said just reach up behind the bumper and do it by hand but yeah...

FIXED!

Luckily since its a JDM hood i have a nice gap between the hood and lights. so i got up in there and unbolted the Tbar . And fixed the cable.

Everything is good again, thanks guys.
