Default i need a help from experienced honda guys

ok guys i need help i have a 91 dx civic hatch
b16a2 with si tranny
skunk2 stage2 camshafts springs and retainers
skunk2 pro intake manifold
skunk2 adj. cam gears
rc310 injectors, aem fuel rail and adj regulator
obd1 conversion
AGE enginering(never heard of them) skunk2 chipped p28 vtec at 4800 rev limit 8200
msd 6al box w/blaster3 coil
dc sports header and 2.5 exaust
aem cai
walbro 255lph

the car runs ok up till vtec kicks in then it stumbles from 5000 till about 6000 then pulls like hell

i have a apt. to get it tuned in a mth. and am not driving it till but this is my first honda build

does this sound like a tune prob or does this sound like a electrical or mech. problem?
thanks nick

If you are running on the stock ecu with 310 injectors this is a tuning issue. your running SUPER RICH at the VTEC engagement point and it wont clear up until the higher rpms.

check out dallasimports.net they have a tuner that EVERYONE recommends. the only 2 i know of the top of my head is jotec and intercrew. intercrew is who gave me the chip for my lude, and i love it.

thats really all i can say.

putting in 310 inj won't make it run like that.. the stock honda computer has a variable of 30% (which the 310 inj are within the 30% variable). So even though it will run a little on the rich side, it won't make it run like your suggesting. Now with the combination of parts you have on it may be causing this.. When you do bring it to get tuned, it will most likely be taken care of... let us know what the tuner says..

its feels like a big drop in the powerband at 5k huh..

my b16 started doing this after i put my BLOX manifold and my 64mm TB on.. a custom basemap cleared that up, just waiting on getting it tuned now.. i was getting way too much air and not enough fuel..

I know tony from T1 will do tuning with crome.

so he does good?
the 750 includes the neptune stuff to put into my computer
it was 250 for all the stuff in the comp. and 500 for 2-3 hrs dyno tuning.
does that sound better?

i dont know anyone in the dallas area that tunes with crome professionally. you can get neptune from tony, hondata from phillip at intercrew and from kenny tran at jotec. apparently intercrew doesnt wanna do any work anymore, and jotec seems to have this thing that "honda kids dont wanna spend money".

they can, but they wont. already talked to both phillip and kenny about doing crome on my prelude, and neither will touch it. I hear that tony does it, but his primary offering is neptune.

youd be fine with everything you have listed. if you dont have the cams yet, dont waste your money on them if you plan to go turbo. GSR cams would be your best (and cheapest) before a turbo engine. Also, the 310s arent going to cut it. Id shoot for 450s (assuming you have about a 300-350 power goal).
