| Junior Member | If anyone has looked in their manual about how to remove their alternator you know that it says you have to remove the hub and driveshaft. Unless you have a compressor and impact wrench then this is an impossivle task. I was able to remove the alt. by getting it loose and disconnecting the wires. Remove your oil filter and shimmy the alternator towards the transmission. Close to where the driveshaft meets the transmission there is enough room to pull the alt. out with a little creative manuevering. |
