I have had a 93 si prelude for 5 years. When the H23 was in it I never missed the 1-2 shift. Now I swapped the h22 in, kept the same tranny, added act xtreme with solid 6 puc, and Since my linkage was hooked back up after the swap, I miss second like 1 out of every 3 times when I'm racing. I am 99% sure it isn't my driving as I have like a million hours logged on this tranny. Will a short shift adapter help or make the gear even harder to hit perfect?

Don't bother with a short shifter, sounds like your a little antzy with your new motor. Shift smoothly so that you won't be replacing your synchros next year.

short shifter will make you miss even more. you have to be faster on your foot.
