Hey guys- just got my seats, and I need to put them in TONIGHT. The brackets that were shipped were part numbers D1126T and D1127T for the 96-00 Civic. Will these bolt up into my 95? Corbeau shipped the wrong damn thing, their offices closed ...

Hey guys- just got my seats, and I need to put them in TONIGHT. The brackets that were shipped were part numbers D1126T and D1127T for the 96-00 Civic. Will these bolt up into my 95? Corbeau shipped the wrong damn thing, their offices closed 15 minutes before the Fedex guy came, and Lake Effect Performance's phone line is down. The part numbers for the 92-95 Civic brackets are D1046T and D1047T.

HELP! I need to get these in TONIGHT.

i'm suspecting from the different part numbers on the brackets, they are different. although i've never swapped seats so i dont know... hey, which seats/color did you go with? have you sat in them yet? (unmounted of course ) you can't sit in your seats after tonight? lol, just get a milk crate, and you're all gravy

93-95 Civic = D1046T and D1047T
96-00 Civic = D1126T and D1127T

I got the Targa RS in grey, and no I haven't sat in them yet. I need the seats in tonight because I'm driving to Dallas in the morning, and my current seats are worn enough to where I hurt after 50 miles. No, pillows are not an option because they just make you feel worse in a different place after the same amount of time.

I don't want to start tearing apart my car to find that the brackets don't line up... only to have to put it all back together again with the stock seats.

Anyone else know? Just info on whether or not 92-95 and 96-00 Civic brackets are interchangeable for any brand of seat would be good enough for me.

From what I hear, 99-00 si seats are a direct bolt in for 5th gens, so you should be fine. Maybe the difference in the two brackets is the height, not the spacing.

Hmm. Good point. Extra height might be a good thing too. We'll see. The guys on Houston Imports told me that they'll fit as well, so we'll see. Confirmation that 99-00 Si seats fit into a 5G really helps. I'm on my way to try it out now. Thanks!

Ok, never mind. They DON'T fit. Damn brackets are an inch too long and a half inch too wide. Larger seats for fatter Americans every 4 years seems to be Honda's trend.

Yeah it blows... oh well. Shit happens.

No extra cushioning needed! I'm trying to get back down to a 30" waist.

Heh. I'm at about 32" right now, trying to trim back down. Get that hourglass shape goin' again, ya know? Lookin' like Ahhhnold. The last time I was fitted for a suit, I had a 44" chest and a 30" waist. I know I'm heavier up top now, but I don't want to buy new jeans. Too expensive.

Update on the seats- Corbeau screwed up the order from Lake Effect Performance. Lake Effect is not at fault, and has been great with contact and service through all of this. Corbeau is shipping me another set of brackets, and is picking up the old ones for no charge. This is great service from both companies! I just wish the order hadn't gotten mixed up.

Hopefully I'll have my seats in by the middle or end of the week.
