does it smoke??? a blue tinted smoke means that hes burning oil, in that case oil is seaping past the rings.
if doesn't smoke, i'd say you got a leak, clean up the motor and run it and then check for leaks around your oil pan or filter. you guess is as good as mine, what else could you be more specific about? __________________

I will tell you now that the average prelude burns about a quart every 3,000 miles. i dont know how much you drive in a month, but if thats his average mileage per month i wouldnt worry too much, just keep it in check. Absoluteprelude.com had an entire poll on this thing an 1 qt per 3k miles seemed to be the concensus.
