I've seen this term pop up quite a bit, but I'm not sure what it means. As you might know I have an h22a is that an open or closed deck and what is the difference or advantages/disadvantages of the two? Thanks

hmmm... how can one tell if thier h22a is open or closed deck without removing the valves and stuff?
unfortunately this makes no sense...im gonna say american h23s are open. If i blew a rod through my H23 im willing to bet they are open deck. i never took the head off to make sure, but id say it was open.
i concur, OBD1 vs OBD2I think 4th gen preludes were all closed (a1 american) and then the a4 was open. thats just my guess, ive got nothing to back it up. anyone know if the euro R was closed or open?
uh... wow, i'll just give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you meant head when you said valves and stuff...hmmm... how can one tell if thier h22a is open or closed deck without removing the valves and stuff?
