I'm looking into buying some Mahle pistons 9.1 with 87mm bore for my H22 (that's what the stock bore is), but I've been reading some other threads and people are buying these pistons with a .25mm over bore just to be safe in case there cylinders wall are a little messed up. Now I bought this motor used and I haven't seen the cylinder walls and I no expert when it comes to this, but I'm wondering IF I buy these pistons would it be wise to oreder the over bore 87.25mm or should I stick with the 87mm? Or is there a way to tell what size I should be using? I guess there is right, but that would involve measuring the cylinder walls. What woudl you guys suggest 87 or 87.25 to be safe?

yeah...thats what it seems like to me too.

Yeah, get the cylinders checked. you shouldnt have much of a problem staying with 87 though.

just your clutch...youll have to get one that will support your new horsepower or your engine will probably just rev out of gear.
