i have a 93 SI and when the car is cold (in the morning). The steering is really really tight.... When the car is warmed up a bit.. the steering gives a little bit more movement. I have already changed the rack and there was no change in the steering... What else could cause this problem... could something be missing or could a line be crimped up somewhere... There is no leaks, the pump and belt work fine... NE help would be nice!!!!!

You could have a crimped or blocked line. The other possibility could be (and im not a hundred % familiar with the setup on that car) that the u-joints int the shaft could be seized.

are you sure the belt is working fine?
it may be a slipping belt. check the tension on it. make sure the pump is mounted correctly and tightly.
