Yup. Gotta cut it in half thogh.
On my 89, I've got a FAL and an AutoZone fan. The FAL is from a dual-fan 98 teg, that one of the fans went out so the guy that had it cut it in half and sold me the working one. Looks just fine, I put the cut side down so that you can't see it. You'll have to put a different plug on it, though, because the ED and DC plugs are different. Works great though. The reason I used an AutoZone fan is because I need 2 fans to cool it enough with my A/C, and the ED radiator isn't wide enough for 2 FAL's. Both of my fans are on a switch, so I just turn them on when I start the car. Reason: there's a short somewhere in my wiring, and the fans would come on sporadically (or not at all), so I just put them on a switch. Works great. |
